Hi

I'm currently planning a two week camping trip to France for next year.  We are considering purchasing a trailer tent to replace our normal tent for the added convenience and comfort.  However, we don't really have the funds for it and it occurred to me that if we could hire one in France, near one of the northern ports, we would avoid the purchase costs and get a cheaper/more flexible ferry crossing.  My google search has been unproductive.  Does anyone know of any companies that provide this service?

How about using the pre erected tents on sites, save all the hassle of hiring one. Plus they would have all the equipment, all you would need to take is your bedding.

Ferry fare apart, you`d probably be considerably cheaper buying an older trailer tent than hiring one for two weeks.

And if you have the storage space, now is a fantastic time to be buying second hand. I`ve been watching beautiful early 90`s Conways going for three or four hundred pounds on Ebay, with extras like sun canopies and front boxes included. Same TT would be going for over a thousand if it was May or June.
