needless to say this item arrived in bubble wrap yesterday morning i had a feeling it was this item but it could also have been a fish tank filter long story anyway my young son bough it upstairs to me as yes i was still in bed and was keen to open the parcel once he had opened it i noticed this sparlking dust in the air and told him to leave my room he did not understand what was going on but the flask had shattered in transit and the dust was in fact glass dust
the glass settled all over my bed when i brushed it off it inbedded itself in my hand and i had to go wash it off i have emailed the seller as my son could have inhaled this glass or even got it in his eyes but have had no reply i did take photos and have also sent them to the seller but nothing......for an unbreakable flast i feel like a was sent a glass bomb i can state how dangerious it was what do i do next?
it cost me 16.44 which is not going to break the bank but im so annoyed

Odd, seller has very good feedback. Description is obviously incorrect, trye SS Unbreakable flasks have SS inners, not glass. Don't give up on contact the seller, and you should also be able to pull their contact details, so might be able to phone them.
hiya i did contact the seller eventually and got told if i send the item back to them they would refund me the sale value once it had been clanmed back form royal mail os lets work this out
i payed 5.95 to get it sent here
i will pay 4or 5 pound to send it back
i will claim back sale price of 9.00
so i still lose out i have also stated in the email im not happy sending something so dangerious through the post as no mater how you open it there is always glass particles and dust in the air its a glass bomb and to be honist now i just am going to let her keep the money and hopefully she will have the fact my son could have been hurt on her consience (mind)
i will leave her feed back later when i calm down a little

contact the seller by email, with a digital photograph of the flask as received, claim for the full cost, including the postage you have paid, as the item is not as described.
It they refuse, tell them you will leave negative feedback and spoil their 100% positive rating, and open a dispute.
See what they say then.
Oh, and only to agree to send the un-wanted and un-ordered incorrect flask back if they pay the postage up-front, or offer to bin it for them.
I agree with Mikey on that, all except the bit about threatening the feedback - they could complain to eBay if you do that, and eBay get very funny about that, so you could shoot yourself in the foot. But definitely point out you should not be out of pocket for this through postage, the item was misdescribed. And by the way, Lidl have one on offer next Thursday for £8.99 - http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pages/c.o.20070913.p.Insulated_Flask.ar6
possibly I mis-phrased that, I mean it they refuse to accept that the item was misrepresented, leave negative feedback to that effect. I didn't mean threaten to spoil their rating, I meant that to be the consequence of the feedback being left. If it is a genuine mistake, if they accept it as such and offer to refund including postage then I would leave no feedback as a fair representation of the event.
I think sometimes Royal Mail play rugby with some parcels as they often throw them about into different cages ,its not really something to get too upset about i mean, worser things happen at sea and im sure the seller will refund or you can always claim back from Paypal if you paid that way..
