all was well with it and no sign of any damp (was well shocked as the garage is very damp)
have re water proofed it also well as much as we could as ran out of fabsil brought a 5 litre can and thought that would be more than enough but the fabric seamed to drink it up have put everything back in there now and she is all packed up ready for the first trip out this year in april to Searles Leisure Resort in Hunstanton, Norfolk

Oh, We are hoping to get to Searles in May. We have our TT, so will be first trip in it. What size pitch do you get at Searles, do you have to tell them its a TT and do they have large pitches away from the main camping area. Sorry for the questions, but am really excited at the thought of our first trip out in the TT. We always go to Searles and hire a static, but have persuaded DH that we would save hundreds of pounds by camping and we bought an old 2nd hand Jamet TT for less than 100 pounds, have just bought a brand new Quechua Pop-up to use as an extra bedroom for our 19yr. Just need EHU and 'away we go'.

hi chinagirl this is our first trip to searles so not to sure about the pitch sizes but when we booked they wanted to know the size if the folding camper when put up so i would think they put you on a pitch that suits the size of unit.
if you e mail them they will send you a map of the site showingall the pitch numbers and you can pre book which pitch you want
that will be the best £100 you ever spent
louise has always gone on holiday abroard with her family till she met me and we went camping and the other week she said that she wasnt bothered if she ever went abroard again or not as she loves camping and there are so many nice places to visit in the uk
I shall ring them and ask for a pitch map, so I can get booked. Can't wait!!!
I love Searles, we generally holiday there at least once each summer, some times manage a 2nd getaway there, but hiring a static is so expensive compared to camping, and the cost limits the times you can take a holiday. I am sure you will love it at Searles too, staying in 'Sunny Hunny' ! Oh, there is a big Tesco within walking distance of the site, so you can do your holiday food shopping when you get there.
