im thinking of fitting gas struts from a crusader onto my pennine sovereign,ive looked at my mates crusader and as far as i can see it should not be too much of a problem,has anyone already done this and if so did you encounter any problems??
One thing to remember, and i'm not sure if it will affect the operation or not, Conway beds slide and Pennine fold. whilst they both have gas struts, i'm not too sure if they are the same or not - but then i am no expert and stand to be corrected.

the model im copying is a 2008 crusader which has fold out beds...my sovereign also has fold out beds and from what i can tell they should fit without much hassle...but then again famous last words...i just dont want to start drilling and cutting stuff then find out theres some hidden pitfall...
