they must be the friendliest people i have ever had dealings with at Camperlands
ordered a Camplet Concorde about a month ago, and the sales man spent about 1 1/2 hour with us, nothing was too much trouble, as we bombarbed him with every stupid question you could imagine, to make sure we were making the right choice
We had an appointment this week to pick it up, and received a full demo of our unit from very friendly and helpful staff. the guy that did our demo, has had a Camplet for 28 years!!!!!!
you only have to ask, and we got some freebies, on top of the already discounted deal we had struck a month ago. then we got a free number plate thrown in.
we have had many tents, including a hand made inflatable tent from Karsten which cost £2500, caravans which are a lot of hassle, manouvering, towing, storing, maintaining, folding campers with awnings which are a lot more hard work to set up and strike than folks will admit
The camplet is absolutely simplicity to erect, even the awning is guy rope free
it is up in a couple of minutes, with nothing being exposed to the rain in the process, then about another ten minutes setting up and its done
plus, we are going to be able to store almost everything in the unit, leaving our vehicle free to carry a buggy for on the beach
glad you like your new camper lets up we get some warm weather to use it soon. if we could affored to buy new we would go to camperands every thing I hear is good
and they have a high resale value, unlike tin tents
we were lucky, we sold our tent for nearly £2000, and a lot of camping equipment for another £500,, so this was a big help in our new investment
in a few years time, we'll still have the camplet in good working order, where as most tents are only designed to last 1, 2, or 3 seasons
in the long term, they are an excellent investment, if you can find the initial outlay
the salesman at camperlands has had his camplet for 28 years, and it still has the original canvas!!!!!!
Happy camping, IT WILL WARM UP SOON.
we go to Ormsirk Abbey Farm, and the beach at Ainsdale is about 25 mins drive, you can drive on the beach, and even when its busy, there's plenty of room for everyone, and great for our retriever, the beach just goes on for ever
We agree with bob. We've had 4 trips to camperlands and have finally decided to go for the camplet royal. We dealt with a chap called mark who knew all about trailer tents and was kind enough to answer our never ending list of questions. The guys up there are all very helpful and nothing is too much trouble, absolutely no pressure to buy, but i warn all readers that the camplet sells itself easily.
Decided to upgrade to TT as our vango tent blew away (with guidelines/tent pegs still in the ground and wife inside) Never mind more than happy with camplet royal, just can't wait to pick up later this month.
we went to camperlands today and brought a camplet savana we dealt with a bloke called john, very helpful, fell in love with the camplet when we saw them at the nec and being looking for one ever since pick ours up this month cant wait
Hiya. We love Camperlands as well. Bought our Concorde from them last year, nothing too much trouble. Didn't get it till near the end of the year, so didn't have many trips out but just love it. Instead of spending hours (seemed like it.lol) putting the tent up, minutes and its up. Its so simple and quick.
Have Fun
Have you tried the bar (can't think what its called) that goes on the wheel and you can tip the TT on its side yet. anybody got the knack of it, let us know. think OH is too scared to try
