We seam to be having trouble selling penny, we have her listed on here and preloved for about 3 weeks and every free ad board and only have a about 3 people ask for photos which I have sent then nothing. what am I doing wrong? what els can I do? would really like to get her sorted
DONT BE TOO DOWN ABOUT IT WE ARE TRYING TO SELL OUR TT TOO
I THINK WHEN THE WEATHER PICKS UP THE PEEPS WILL START TO THINK ABOUT BUYING TENTS AND CAMPERS READY FOR THE HOLLS GOOD LUCK dont think you are doing any thing wrong we have been watching ebay and things have not been to good with sales of tents campers and tt we are just blaming the weather
------------- dont blame me if the sun dont shine happy campping
Try www.freeads.net. I had advertised my caravan on 4 websites and, like you, was getting to the point where I thought it would never sell. I put an ad on Freeads (you get to put 8 free photos on too) on Friday, got phone call 9am this morning, van sold at 1pm. I'm well please.
Dont be disheartened. We have an fc on here and eBay and little response so far.
We are also still looking for a buyer for our folding camper despite it is at a bargain price for age and condition and the space and ease of towing. If we dont sell we shall wait until the warm weather and take it out. Our offspring and their families want to use it as well so it might end up back in one of the garages.
We are trying to give up camping because we are starting to struggle a bit and enjoy someone else doing the work but what are you folk switching to?
Despite we dont need the low cost now or the instant accomodation without booking, we still relish the freedom and relaxation of our own space. We were sitting in the lounge of a plush hotel recently and the loud pompous jabber from some other guests made us wish we were in the Pullman.
I think things are still a bit depressed, easter you would expect prices to shoot up but it's been cold.
I bought a camper recently off ebay and thought it was a great deal, but then looking at others that have gone recently, while it was a few hundred less, they all seem to be going for less than you'd expect.
Once it warms up I think trhey'll start shifting quicker and for more money.
(Still snow in Derbyshire this weeekend!)

Hi all, I think that the wather is affecting the market alot, I know the trouble we had last summer, was it rained alot, and rain and canvas are fine, providing that it is fine when you have to 'pack up' if not, and you haven't got anywhere to dry it,canvas is a nightmare. We are half way through April now, and the rain is pouring here, and it has been on and off all week. Some people may 'mock' the PVC brigade as not being proper 'campers', but there is 'no way' I would go back to canvas. You maybe able to have lovely sunny days, but come the day to come home, you are counting the gathering clouds.
