hi trailer tent lovers, ive previously owned 2 1st 1 was a very old dandy not sure of the type ,but it was very old but absolutly fantastic,my dad bought it for us through insurance, and boy was it a solid trailer,we used it a few times, then lost interest as everyone was using tents, but did a good deed i sold it to a fella in the next street he did'nt have much money ,so i sold it to him for £50 as i'd rather see it used, and guess what he and his wife are alway's on there travells bless them that made me smile ,mean't more than any amount of money.we then decided to buy another one from a friend a suncamp 2001 model it was great the only problem was i set it up in my garden and had to leave it up for 3 weeks as we had really bad weather, cats got in and scratched the foam and made it dirty had to srub everthing fuming, when we finally packed it away ready to go away set up on campsite had more bad weather and as a result rain came through the canvas and completly drenched us again fuming laugh about it now though!!! as the only ones to blame was ourselves as we were supposed to water proff it and forgot, holiday cut short, left the thing there to dry out put a huge tarpaulin over it what a mess i swear ended up selling her , got a new big tent used that for a while now bought a caravan lol watch this space to see what happens to us next lol got a screw loose just love camping he he
------------- I LOVE MORNINGS, JUST WISH CAME LATER IN THE DAY
We have just come back from 3 days of rain in Northumberland, 'Drummel' our Dandy was very wet, but it was great to be able to pack him without the worry that we had when packing away a wet Conway Corniche.
So glad we didn't go to Northumberland! Lucky enough to pack up dry this time and only one wet day out of three.
In the last twenty five years we have owned 5 touring caravans, 6 statics, 3 trailer tents and 5 tents - often more than one at a time. Now in a folding camper and sold all the others except one - anyone looking for a frame tent?!!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
