Hi,

We are planning a long camping trip to europe in the summer. A six week family jaunt!!

I have purchased lots of equipment for the tent, most of which following the advice of forum members. I wnat to know whether we will need dual voltage equipment throughout our trip?  or will a normal UK microwave, health grill, sandwich toaster etc work with the electrical supply on the campsite?

I know I seem to be taking a lot of equipment but we are travelling with 4 Kid's so I think these things will be very helpful.

I have a good EHU and lighting, an electric cool box (though will probably rent a fridge as well) and other dual voltage stuff (hairdryer, kettle, iron).

Watts divided by Volts= Amps.This will give you a guide but be aware Microwaves are rated in watts this is the output,you need to check the specification on the label to get the power input and then add at least 50% for startup current.
