We've just discovered a hole in the canvas roof of our Pennine Fiesta folding camper and were wondering if anyone could suggest the best product or recommend a company near to Coventry that we could use to repair it,

I've heard you can get iron on & self adhesive patches, and someone else has said we should take it into a specialist as it should be stitched and waterproofed.

The hole is about the size of a golfball (thanks to a mouse in our garage). Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Simon.

You can use copydex and nick a bit of canvas from the awning or peg bag. If it is new (ish) you could try TVS at Bolton.

When we fixed the scouts canvas tents we glued a patch either side of the fabric to cover the hole from both sides. We found evostick to be the best glue but as they were scount tents we really didnt bother what they looked like - dont think I'd do it to my own camper lol!

Hi

For the repairs I have had done on my Countryman I have used a lady in Kettering Northants, just down the A45/A14 from you - she's excellent. She is semi-retired now and only works Wednesday to Saturday, but if you want a repair done I have no qualms about recommending her work or helpful attitude. The number is 01536 512678 and the business is called Kettering Tents. There are probably a few people in or around Coverntry too though, have you tried asking at Go Outdoors, they may know of repair specialists?

Hope you get sorted

Hi. I've just bought a second hand Dandy Discovery, which needs a small repair to the roof. One of the seams has come apart slightly. It's like a pvc type material, any1 know dealer in the north of england who does repairs

Thanx dpoet

Riva at Wigan would do it.  Until recently they were manufacturing new Riva (Dandy) campers but now only doing 2nd hand units plus service and repairs.
