We've just come back from 3 weeks in Ireland. We covered 2646 miles and we were towing for 1070 of those miles, the consumption worked out at 50.3 mpg overall. The roads were diabolical and we went over lots of mountains so we could possibly improve on this figure. The car is a Citroen Grand C4 Picasso 1.6 Hdi with the semi auto gearbox.
