Hi Dave,
You mean apart from me, and the others who got done that particular night? The police who attended said it was a really common problem, but I wouldn't go that far, I think some campsites are popular with opportunists while most aren't. However my point is this; its not enough to lock valuables away, you shouldn't leave anything lying around that looks like it MIGHT be valuable. Its a simple precaution to lower the risk of a spoiled holiday. Its not a very nice experience.
