hi everybody,new new newbie needs help. will my toyota corolla verso 1.8 petrol be ok to tow a pennine stirling trailer tent. car will contain 2 adults + plus 2 kids and all usual camping stuff. any help most welcome. cheers all chris747

Hi and welcome to the world of TT's and FC's!

I don't see any reason why a Toyota Corolla won't pull a Stirling.  I pull a Pennine Pullman with a 1.6 Scenic.  You just have to check the weight with your manual on the car.  The Stirling is one of the lighter trailers.

I don't know which year you will be getting/have of the Stirling but the 2007 weighed 640kg ex works, carrying capacity 260kg with a max gross weight allowed of 900kg same as the Pennine Pullman.  Looking at the link that Mountain Runner put up the verso is well within the limit for this trailer.  That is a lot of carrying power right there too.
