got my dream sterling last september and will be using it on the 21st of july. anyway due to moving house i have had no time to play with it. could you help answer some questions.

1. can you make the beds (sheets and quilts) then fold it (its a 2000 model ie no gas struts) i dont want to try, and sprain anything.

2. any packing tips please

3 do you find that you need a caravan mirror (i drive a focus)

4 any security tips

i would love to set it up and play but the rain will not stop for long enough.

Congratulations on the toy.

In answer to your questions:

1. Yes you can but I put the pillows in the wardrobe.

2. You will find your own place for everything, but just put light things in the wardrobe as too much weight puts a strain on the hinge.

3. I think legally you have to have one, we have a discovery and still use one.

4. We use a hitchlock and wheel clamp, we always take the hitchlock with us and use it on site.

Have fun, don't forget about the owners club, link at the bottom

Yes as already said we leave our beds made up with sleeping bags and use the pillows to place at side of cooker which you store under table when folded to secure it better.

I always use an extension mirror which i find you really need especially for motorway driving .

For security we have a bulldog hitchlock and wheel clamp. The only problem with the wheel clamp is i find i have to leave the plastic wheeltrim off as the clamp needs to cover one of the wheel nuts.I also have 2 corner steady locks also which are easy to use .make sure you buy the best security items you can afford .

Good luck and enjoy your Sterling ,were just in the process of taking ours to France for the summer hols it works out cheaper than staying in UK .
