We are off to France in 4 weeks and the site we are going to does not allow charcoal BBq so we are having to use gas.

We have never used a gas BBQ before and I need to purchase the adapter/nozzle have looked on the Pennine website but I am a little confused. Our unit iis a 2000 Pennine Pullman so do I need to both of tthe following items or just the nozzle. Also anyideas on where I can geet these cheaper (postage wise).

Just the first bit but they are only 1.99 in most caravan shops.

Please explain more! How do you connect a gas BBQ to the pullman? We have a 2005 Pullman but I have not found a gas outlet? Am I missing something? Thanks

If you do not have a gas barbecue point fitted to your camper, you will need the complete kit. The one on the Pennine website is £54.94. This includes all nozzle's needed for connecting your barbecue but you will have to run a gas pipe  from a junction in the existing pipe work to the required position,a job probably best left to a registered gas fitter.

They stopped putting external bbq points in at the end of 2002. Ours was piped to the edge of the front locker so not difficult to have put in later.

All you need is a tee piece (obtainable from most good caravan shops, Towsure etc) to insert in the flexible pipe from your gas bottles and a female connector to put on the end of a second piece of flexible pipe running from the tee and then you can connect your gas barbeque vie a male connector as and when you wish to use it. Estimated cost for materials £15.

Regards Bob

On newer models the regulator is after the flexable pipe so you can't tap into it. You have to connect in after the regulator on the metal pipe. Our 2005 pathfinder has a blanked off outlet where the bbq point could be connected from.
