 Well we had our first camping trip away in our TT we had a few hiccups put poles wrong way round poles and canvas were up and down moved around but finally worked it out so should be ok for next trip (hopefully). What a differance sleeping up off the floor much warmer and comfortable, And the space was nice too this is a huge TT and when i say huge people on the campsite kept asking if we'd brought a bungalow and popping in for look. Looking forward to our holiday last 2 weeks of August kids can't wait they can take loads more stuff.

   Well how did everyone elses first camping trip away go i read a few threads off people saying they were away for the first time would be nice to here how it all went.

My first trip went ok thanks, despite the usual 'Lake District mist' and a wet camping field.

Putting up and taking down was ok, but I did worry a lot about the wind blowing the awning away, which it didn't, and I guess I'll gain confidence with experience.

Looking forward to my next trip, to Clitheroe, which will be my son's first camping trip, and our trial run for our 9 night trip to Somerset later in the month.

Here's hoping for a dry spell!

 We are going to Darthmouth for 5 days and Porlock for 7 days end of August. I looked at Mill Farm it looks loverly can you let me know what you think of the site we love somerset and would like to try different sites so your review would be a appreciated. Thanks.
