Hi

Does anyone know where is the best place to get spares for Sunncamp trailer tents?

I basically need a wheel arch and the timber which is used for the base of the storage boxes where the wheels/wheel arches are located.

Would be helpful if they where within easy travel distance of North Oxfordshire.

Thanks

Steven

On the FAQ page of www.sunnflair.com (makers of suncamp) is a link apart spares for sunncamp products, it sais email graham at sunnflair.com with your requirement and they'll see what they can do, timber wise you will probably just need to get a bit and cut to size.

Thanks for that, I have managed to get hold of the Sunnflair after sales dept and they are tryinbg to get me a price for the wheel arch. The timber is another matter. I will try and source some from a local supplier.

Cheers

Steven

The timber is aplywood so normally yes but it has a laminbate type material which makes it water proof as the bottom is exposed to the road surface.

I could use marine ply but this would be thicker and I would still need to keep painting/varnishing it.

I may have sourced some material that is used for external dog kennels and I also may be able to get my hands on another trailer tent.

Hi Steven, what thickness is the ply, you can get coated ply from motorhome mantufacutrers/conversion specialists, there a few companies that do parts fors self build motorhomes that sell all the coated ply and furniture board.

The link below is to 3mm coated ply as used in shower enclosures in caravans/motorhomes, must water proof as its used for the shower.

That link doesn't work straight to the product, you need to go to wallboard refrence page, then the item is called grey shower.

There are a few other sites I will find the address for later, there saved on my other laptop and can't remember them at the minute, as this site doesn't give a price.
