We have just purchased a 1991 conway cruiser folding camper but the fridge switches itself on and off.  The fridge runs really well from the electric hook up and gets nice and cold, but then it goes off and we can't get it back on - then hours or a day or two later it comes back on.  Does anyone know how these fridges work and what triggers it on and off.

Hi Cruiserfan

for your fridge to work perfectly you have to make sure your unit is completely level front to back and side to side! we had this problem all last year however this year we have taken more time to level unit and we have had no problms with our fridge at all.

invest in a decent level its worth it for cold beer!!!

hope this helps nina x

Thanks we will give it a try.  Hope the weather clears up so we can get away again to see if it works.
