Dear all

We are currently looking at moving to a FC and have been looking at pre-owned FCs but we were wondering what the life expectancy would be for a FC before we could possibly start to get problems?  Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the canvas top should we find it necessary?

It is simple but not cheap to replace any of the canvas.

As for the life, it is an unknown quantity the difference I have seen on same age campers is huge,it depends on the actual usage and storage rather than a definite shelf life.

Some are still going after 30-40 years.

tent valeting services at bolton will replace canvas on folding campers , they seem to have all the conway spares , it is not cheap though around £1000 for a decent size camper , the life expectancy of a quality brand folding camper or trailer tent if well looked after is at least 15 years and beyond
