Hi all, just come back from fantastic week in cotswolds but arrhhhh!!!! we have lost all the keys to our pennine pathfinder, had to break into the electric to be able to leave campsite. Please has this happened to anyone else ? and if so what was the heapest way to remedy. Do I need to replace all locks or can I get replacements for some. Any help really appreciated.
Have a look at the Pennine website here you can order new keys, you just have to quote the MC & WD numbers when ordering. Ignore the postage charge they say that this is a standard charge but they don't charge this amount on small items.
Tell you what I saw in our local Go Outdoors store yesterday - a set of replacement lock barrels of the high-security type, you know, the sort you see on vending machines, Bulldog wheel clamps etc. Can't remember how much, but it looked like the kit had several barrels in it. Worth a look at a local caravan accessory place? Did you have your wheel clamp on, and if so how hard was it to remove??!!!
I have always kept spare keys at home for that same reason the same goes with the car, then when we go on holiday my wife looks after the spare set just in case i misplace mine saves alot of messing ,especially if we were in France on holiday.
