Went to our local camping store today and there were LOTS of used TTs and FCs for sale traded in for caravans. Guess it was inevitable given the last two summers. Seems like now's the time to buy if you're brave enough to go canvas!
Yes where is your local camping store , we are looking for a pathfinder or crusader , and looking at the bids , or lack of them on ebay , it looks like a buyers market , i know this is not very good for sellers .
Trouble is that they are over priced... not just Jacksons but any dealer. We bought our f/c privately and saw the same unit at Jacksons but in a much worse condition for over double what we paid !!!
They are fab for all the camping paraphenalia though !!
Couldn't agree more. Purchased a 2001 Trigano Chantilly today (not 10 miles from Jacksons) for £800. In absolute mint condition with plenty of extra's thrown. Local rag has advertisement for Jacksons with similar Trigano Chantilly 2001 £1200!
Well yes, but I don't think that's something peculiar to Jacksons - all dealers are obviously going to add their mark up. Some people prefer to go one stop shopping and don't like trailing around private sellers. Its all down to personal choice. We've picked up a few bargains at Jacksons at this time of year. We love visiting - its a bit like Camperlands - absolutely full of camping stuff you never realised you needed! But it always puts you "in the mood" for getting the tent out!

I JUST GOT A 1983 RACLET TRAILER TENT WITH NO INSTRUCTION HOW TO PUT IT UP... TRIED FOR THREE HOURS TO PUT IT UP WITH A SET OF 18 MNTH TWINS ( YES SILLY I KNOW) BUT AFTER THREE HOURS I JUST ENDED UP FRUSTRATED AND SO WERE THE TWINS. SO HAD TO GIVE UP AND COME HOME.
