We are considering buying a stratos which has got everything with it as far as we can see. The build quality looks good but are there any weaknesses in the canvas that we should look out for? So far we have looked at trigano`s and are impressed. These also seem to be quicker to erect. We do, however, like the streamlined shape of the stratos. Also, is there any truth in the rumour that cabanon may be in financial trouble? Thanks for any advice.
We have ne experience of the other TT's but we like the stratos. We find it fairley easy to errect & I can manage it on my own but it does take a while.
The canvas is the normal Cabbanon quality & having a zipped in groundsheet is very comforting in our lovely summers.
The tunnel shape to the awning requires some adaption of how you camp compared with a frame tent. The three large windows make the awning very light on even a dull day.
We find drying the awning hard unless you can get a sunny day on your return but that goes for all large canvas tents.
We are upgrading to a Caravan, therefore we have a Cabanon Stellar the new model for 2008 for sale although we have not advertised it yet....only used 3 time excellent condition if you interested...
We like the look of the Raclet Allegra simply on the ease of putting it up I am disabled and my missus has to do it all on her own ........I do make helpfull comments. We stated out looking for a combicamp ended up with a raclet quickstop and want something else what does that tell you about the choice out there .Good luck with what ever you end up with
