looks like we will be buying a brand new camp-let ( royal ) next year at the mo they are offering free in a deal with other stuff a set of alloy wheels which look great but as with car owners they can be a pain to clean what i would like to know is is there anything i can get to put on the wheels to stop the ally from going off and help to keep clean or should we just keep to the steel wheels with wheel trims ?
the wheels will not get that dirty as there are no disc brakes on your trailer to cover them in nasty black brake dust. Try not to kerb them and make sure your wheel clamp is suitable for use with alloys.
sound swish to me ALLOY WHEELS ohhhhhh get you. Hows the winter project coming on ?

if they still have the same offer on when we go to buy one i mite ask if i can keep the steel wheels to swap over when it isn't being used in winter and keep the alloy wheels in the garage ?
Most available special alloy wheel cleaners seem to be of equal performance. I use Halfords on my Rover 45 - the wheels come up beautifully. I neglected doing them for ages; bought the car end of April 2007 and only recently used the cleaner. Up to then I'd relied on car washes but they didn't get rid of the streaky deposits. The cleaner removed THE LOT, only needing a gentle brushing with nylon bristles. Easy to use - coat one wheel. Coat a second. Go back to the first and use the brush. Rinse it off. Rinse off the second wheel. Then repeat this for the other two wheels. Magic. Of course, as has been stated, there wont be any brake dust so gentle washing with car wax/wash may well be enough.

that sounds good as i really do like the alloys on the camp-let and as peops have said the camp-let does not have brakes so they won't get as dirty so that makes it even better ?
