This may come as a surprise to you,You see I know Rex very well, in-fact I have lived with him for eighteen years, And yes his knowledge on many subject and always been correct can drive you mad, but you are barking up the wrong tree,Rex's IQ his just below genius the last time it was officially done I was there.
It as taken Rex two years to encourage me to join this forum, and he still as no Idea I am a member, and it as taken you one post for me to say farewell to UKCS because unnessasery sarcasm is something I will not be part of.
To all other members who welcomed me thanks, I will continue to monitor as before but as for posting I will keep my distance.
Wish you all well
Val

I don't think Corpo meant anything bad and was trying to have a friendly bit of banter but .....
I have actually met Rex and Val and they are both some of the nicest people you would ever wish to meet. Thier hospitality is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. Rex is always will to help out and give advise and information based on his own experiences. He will always say that it is his own opinion and you are free to accept it or not as you see fit your self.
I also now there are lots of other posters on the forums who have similar years of experience and who are all well worth listening to as well and will give thier opinons that you are free to accept or not.
I know I for one am wiser for all these people posting and have learnt a whole load about all kinds of camping even though we have been 'at it' for 10yrs. You are never too old to learn new things.
I hope no one takes offece from my post as I am not meaning to cause any at all. This is a lovely friendly site where everyone should feel welcome to post.
Very nice to hear from you, from what I read you are certainly enjoying your camping,As to the other thing I have discussed it with Rex and we are both in agreement I am not a forum person and anyway Rex as enough mouth for us both.
Look forward to seeing you and the family in September,
Love to you and yours
Val.

Val, I am sure Corpogreen meant no harm with the post and will be along shortly to apologise (won't you)
However, if you have been monitoring the forum, I'm sure you realise Rex gives as good as he gets.
We're generally a friendly bunch on folding campers so do join in. Hopefully Rex will join the owners club and you'll come on a meet. Its lovely to see a field full of pennines.
