Oh No! Where on earth am I going to get all the 'little bits' and general good chat from Kenny and Jim now my fav shop is no more? Its the end of an era.

Any one who has been to this shop will sympathise with me I'm sure.

The Staff were lovely. You've got perthshire caravans between perth and dundee as well as the kikcaldy caravans. What they needed was to be somewhere in town I bet if they were near B and Q then they'd do better sales and footfall.

I heard it was internet sales that scuppered them. People would go in as say 'I can get this cheaper of the net". Not thinking about carriage, conversation and advice. I will miss them.

That is 'cos they were Scottish!

It has affected everything, that is why Woolworths closed. Tesco & Argos doing camping gear have also made a dent.

We've been to a few camping shops and they didn't make the most of the space they had they mainly sold second hand trailer tents and folding campers with a dozen of tents and not much accessories. Towsure would have more selection. Plus I bet not many people knew that a camping shop existed as it's out of town.

I still liked the shop, Scottish or not. It was convenient to have a camping shop with a huge range close to home. Now I will have to travel miles......

Yep, it is a sad thing. Lots of good shops giving up. My local high street is starting to look like it has been abandoned. Even OXFAM have closed!
