I have an 1988 Conway Corniche DL and I love it and have had it for years! Ive been told that the canvas is rotten although the trailer is sound. Does anyone know can I get a replacement canvas for the whole tent? (Ps I know that the likes of Tent Valeting services will make one but that sounds like a dear doo)

2 years ago we had a similar problem.  Our Conway was 20 years old, great trailer and kitchen but canvas kept tearing everytime we put her up or down.  Was quoted £750 for a brand new canvas including an extention.  We looked at frame tents in case they would fit but they wouldn't. 

£750 for a brand new canvas really is a good deal when you think that with care it will last 20 years.

We also looked into buying a tent but when you have got used to all that space in a tt you would need a huge tent that may or may not be accepted on your chosen site.

Good Luck whatever you decide to do.  We ended up with a caravan :)

tvs are your best bet give Graham Shuck a ring we had an old conway challenger (brown&yellow) for 1,500 we got cabin canvas awning all the poles wet weather covers and ties for the beds and new curtains
