Looking to upgrade from tent to folding camper and have approximately 4k budget. Would love a Pennine or Conway. What can I realistically expect to get ie. year of manufacture? Does anyone know where I can find any information that will give me the current values, models and age? Hope I've made that clear!
Have a look on eBay you'll see lots of different models and will give you an idea of prices. You will pay more if you buy from a dealer rather than private.
4 grand will get you a cracker. If you are an E Bay member, click "completed listings" when searching. it will show you the prices paid in green, or items unsold at the end of the auction in red (no bids or too high a reserve). Try Riva Leisure. They have a brand new Dash in for £3495. You don't say what size you are after or what features you want.
We spent 4K at the end of last Sept and purchased a 2000 Conway Cruiser with full awning, underbed storage tent, underbed skirts, additional bedroom pod and double size toilet annexe plus a sun canopy. We got this from Penrose Touring in Truro fully serviced and lots of little extras ie, new water filter, step, full gas bottle, new electric hook up, winter cover. I hope you get what you're looking for, we love our "Connie".

Roll on the next camping trip!
You'll get a pretty new fiesta or an older pathfinder or anything in between. Decide how many ? what features ? loo/ no loo full cooker/double burner and grill etc and then look at the year, you should get something decent for that sort of money.

Many pieces of good advice re: Pennine / Conway. Damn good campers, too.
My tuppennyworth:
I would advise going for the Crusader/Cruiser/Pathfinder/Pullman style rather than that countryman/fiesta style. The Cruiser etc. have loads more space inside, and you never have to do that thing I hate - put up and down the beds every night. That said, you might not care, and value the ease of towing and storage.
Did you know you can get a brand new Raclet Globetrotter for about £4k? No, it isn't the poshest, but the canvas is top banana, it's bigger than a Cruiser, and that's a lot of brand new camper for the cash....
well £2650 would have got you an absolute bargain 2002 pullman 535se, tip top condition, her indoors is fuming as we missed out on it!!! [ebay]but it was in Southwold!
