Hi everyone

I am a newbie here who has been lurking for a while.  Was wondering if anyone can help me with a dilemma I have.

I am looking for a tent for my family (hubby and 2 kids 7 yrs and 1.5yrs) and want an 8 man tent for a bit more room.  My priorities are:

Good height (for travel cot), sewn in groundsheet for bedrooms (not bothered about shared space, good ventilation/doors/windows, large shared space (big enough for kids to play in if it rains), Under £250, Mesh panels to keep flies out, Construct fly sheet first.

Well I have done my homework and narrowed it down to the Coleman Sahara 8, Campus Indiana 8, Vango Colorado 800DLX and Sunncamp Stratus 8.

Any views on these tents?   Plus and minus points?  I suppose it would be useful to find out any niggles people have with these tents or even their fave things about it so I can finally come to a decision!  Going camping next week so need to think fast and order tonight!

Thanks so much guys!

Wendy

Wendy,

Welcome to the forum.

I had to reply to this post as it had been viewed 28 times and still had a sad blue face next to it.

You may get a better response posting in the 'tent Talk' forum rather than this trailer tent bit.

Sorry I am unable to help with your question, but someone will I'm sure.

Snowmen fall to earth in kit form........

Every day is a gift..That's why it's called the present.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be.

Stressed is just 'Desserts' spelt backwards
