I've enjoyed camping ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper. But as the years pile on the struggle to errect my tents is becoming harder and harder.
I do however want to give a tralier tent a try out but don't want to go stright in at the deep end and buy brand new. Are there any places (prefereably in Yorkshire) that do cheap second hand trailer tents?? I have googled till I am blue in the face and was unable to find any specific company that deals with traler tents. Ebay popped up quite a few times but I would rather go to a dealer so that I can see before I buy.
any help, pointers links would be greatly appreciated.
maybe a walk around a nearby campsite and asking those who have them may be of some help, nothing better to see the things doing what they are made to do, good luck,

We had a tent and were going to migrate to a trailer tent until we discoverd folding campers. Can we suggest having a look at second hand folding campers - they go up faster than trailer tent - unhitched to kettle on in circa 20 mins! Essential as the bones get older. You also get caravan like benefits at trailer tent pitch fees. They also seem to hold their value and could be readily sold on if you decided it was'nt your cup of tea.
If you are set on a trailer tent then sometimes dealers might hire trailer tents out. You don't say whereabouts in Yorkshire you live so this next bit may be irrelevant but One local dealer here in the north east called Camping on Tyne (www.campingontyne.com) used to do that then at the end of the season would sell them off so you could try before you buy. Barrons at Darlington (now part of Discover) used to carry a good range of second hand trailer tents and folding campers but i always thought they were overpriced.
Good luck!
------------- Aye the force is strong in ye but thoo's not yet a Geordie.
It's near Chester but has the best display of tents, trailer tents and campers that I've seen. Next to nice garden centre so makes for a pleasant day out. Worth the trip.

------------- There's no shame in not knowing - the only shame is in not asking :)
Just to note that the link you've supplied is to Caseys at Otley - they're very helpful and have a number of secondhand units (both TT and FC) but I'd give them a ring before setting off as their stock does vary considerably.
I suspect this might be the caseys you were trying to link to?http://www.caseysoutdoorleisure.co.uk/ no persoanl experience of these, but the guys at otley are very helpful.
