Hi

We are new to the world of trailer tents and will be picking up our first trailer tent next week. Only small hitch is I need to get a towbar fitted.

Can anyone recommend fitters in Leeds/Wakefield/Morley area?

Also, I have a VW Passatt Estate. Can a towbar be fitted to these without having to cut the bumper away?

Any advice on the above would be greatly appreciated.

Wakefield towbars just off Thornes wharfe is where i got mine fitted , not too far from Leeds

Forgot , but my car is the new passat estate .bumper is cut but is not visible

I've just rung Towbar Services Wakefield LTD which I think is the one you were referring to Sparky but they couldn't give me a price there and then so I'll have to call back.

Re-assuring to know that the cut in the bumper isn't visible.

We used autowbars and they came out to fit it to my husbands car - it was a really good quality one.

I have always used Towbar Services in Wakefield and never been disapointed on price or quality of fitting.

Price depends if you have double electrics fitted ie if you require to run 12v in the camper such as the fridge whilst being towed , this makes it more expensive?

Hi there,

If you look in Yellow pages you will find the name of the company in Armley, I think they also have a place near Hunslet.

They do a good deal and it takes about an hour to fit.
