Hello, we have just bought a 2nd hand Trigano Oceane today and are very excited about getting going. We have had the odd night in a tent before but plan to take the TT to France for three weeks in the Summer.
We have quite a lot to sort out so would be grateful for any tips.
Does anybody know where we can get a Tow Bar fitted near Warrington?
What essential equipment do we need? The tent comes with groundsheet, porta pottiand electric hook up. We have some pans and crockery from previous camping trips. I am just trying to get a list sorted so we don't find ourselves in France missing something vital. Many thanks, Marie.
congratulations on your purchase and welcome. sorry i can`t help with the towbar but reading through the threads on here will give you loads of tips and advice
Torches (or electric lights if you're using the hookup) and matches to light the cooker. We've managed to forget both in the past and it's a pain, especially if it's getting dark and the shops have closed before you realise the torches are under the stairs back home.
I've got an Ocean 315 GL - just had it a few months but going to France for 3 weeks in the summer. So far we have bought electric thing, fridge (wine cooler), couiple of tables, chairs, pots, all the odds and ends. I have a fair itinerary as I have camped for years - this is first time in trailer tent though!
Thanks for all your tips. Matches is most likely something I would have forgotten! Good advice about getting wheel bearings checked- I haven't a clue what that means but I'm sure my husband will!
