hi all,
we were away at the weekend and had a great time. My problem is that when the unit is up I cant get the door zipped all the way down. I slackened off all the poles and then I could just about get it shut but as soon as I tightened up the canvas I couldnt do the zip, it left an opening of about 8"-10" gap. it was a bit breezy through it.

Do you peg out with all the doors and windows closed?

I learned the hard way...!

How weird, looked at your post thinking 'oh our challenger used to be the same as that!' Sometimes wonder if it was due to uneven ground, but don't think so, no matter what we did it wouldn't zip up! It was a 2006 model, might be the same one! lol

hi mzzy and missymoss,
no its not the same one, mines a 2005, still its helpful to know that someone else has suffered the same problems.   I cant actually remember if the door was closed when I pegged out, no pun intended, but it was late!

can you rub wax or whatever you do to lubricate the zip? I am new to this! maybe you have pulled the zip a bit at some point and its a wee bit squint if you know what I mean :)

The zips can be tight, we go round the teeth now & again with candle wax, not melted just as it is,dont strain the zip once it pulls, its always a weak spot. challenger.
