There should be a number stamped on your A frame and the last two digits are the year ours is something like 1234 56 90N with the 90 being 1990. There is another number on there thats quite long but thats something to do with Alko.
ive just been out to have a look,if the stamped plate on the a frame was pop riveted on....its been un riveted! no numbers left,could there be a way to denote the approx year from the colour scheme,fitments etc
We don't have a plate the number is stamped directly on to the A fame, I found it hard to find when we were looking at ours, some have found rubbing chalk over helps to show it up? Ours (as you look at the A frame) was on the left hand 'strut' )not very technical being a girl) closer to the trailer than the hitch.
It sounds like a late 70s/early 80s model. The serial number has the date code as Andi says. They can be hard to read. It is on the frame of the camper, not the hitch itself.
i was thinking if some one could post a picture of there A frame and put an arrow where the number is located roughly as i can't find my yet been looking for ages lol sorry to be a pain..
