Can anyone help with my problem. I have just bought a 1995 Conway Cruiser Folding Camper (and was advised everything was working) however the electric water pump or the 12v supply does not work. I have follwed the wiring and it appears that the wires that go to the bank of connectors go in but don't appear to have anything the other side??, also the leisure battery does not appear to charge wether connected to the car during travel or when connected to the mains supply. Anyone have a wiring diagram or can help with my problem I would be extremely grateful.
According to the seller the leisure battery should automatically charge, but the wires from the battery go nowhere, thus no 12 supply is working, the pump that does not work is for the water, it has a water heater and that works (or at least gets hot) but when the valve on the tap is turned for the water there is nothing.
It sounds as if someone has put these in themselves, as I don't think they are part of the spec for 1995. The only thing to do is to get someone to check all the wiring and reconnect, you will know then that 1. they work and 2. they are safe to use.
