Please can any one help I am looking for a set of assembly instructions for our Cabanon Atlantis ATL 50G Trailer tent, which we have purchased in a used condition a few weeks ago and are going to brave the English weather in a couple of weeks to see how we get on.
I don't want to get to the pitch and be completely stuck but worse do some damage which can be avoided.
I tried doing a search to see if anyone else has asked this before but couldn't find anything
Can I get the instructions on line? Download them perhaps? Or do I need to speak directly with Cabanon.
I am sorry to sound so naive about this but the fact is I am so any help is genuinely appreciated
Can't help directly but you should try the Cabanon website - failing that try and contact your nearest dealer (Highbridge Caravans I believe are very helpful) as the Cabanon office aren't much use (according to previous posts on here).
All I can recommend if you can't find any instructions is to practice pitch at a nearby campsite or park and take it really slow.
hi we have an atlantis as well, we,ve gone from a Athena frame tent to an Atlantis trailer tent, it looks confusing, :), could I have some instructions pretty please,
my email address is heathersmith7 at sky.com thanks :) :)
we,ve got the instructions, but it doesnt make it any clearer,:( :(
it shows the roof connected to the frame, but ours isnt,
anyone figured out the easiest way to put up the tent :( :(.
Did a trial run today, but hubby couldnt reach to put the convas on,even on tiptoes,:( :( :(
been looking on the instructions again, it shows the bedroom canvas attached to the poles when you put it up, but you cant do that, as that part goes UNDER the bedrooms on the atlantis, not on top, ??!!!
You will need a step to climb up into the main sleeping compartment. You know the ones, like those you see people using with caravans. We used to use these to stand on to reach up and fit the roof poles. It's been five years and I really can't remember very much now as we've toured a caravan for the last few years but its worth sticking with it. There's so much space and a lot of comfort in a trailer tent compared to ordinary tenting and ours even protected us through a hurricane as it blew into the Welsh coast and everyone else blew away. You'll get there, maybe do a couple more practice pitches first. Good luck.
ok, thanks, just thought we were doing something wrong, :) :). looks like you put that bit up, then zip the main canvas onto the bedroom canvas then it over the roof of the bedrooms, then attach the poles low down, like we did on our Athena frame tent, then pull main frame over and then lift the poles to full height, think I read that right, lol ??!!
