I am looking to purchase a used trailer and am left with a doubt as to which trailer is the best.
I am comparing a Pendenne Pathfinder and a Conway Crusader
both about the same age.
Can anyone please help me decide?
Depends on personal preference. Pennine & Conway are made by the same firm. There are lots of different makers. Dandys, made until last year by Riva Leisure, are unique in being made from PVC rather than canvas, so don't need drying before packing away. A big plus if like me you don't have a driveway to put the thing back up when you get home.
We have a pathfinder ( 2004) and for comfort and luxury we find it first class.
On board heating and running hot water makes a big difference to us with young children and as for the on board toilet and sink it makes life easier, especially for those night time toilet calls.
A pleasure to tow with a braked weight of 1000kg also makes the towing experience more comfortable too.
Hi - I'm in a similar boat, in that i'm looking to buy my first folding camper and looking for comparisons - I have found this website that reviews the main UK available models in terms of spec inside and out ... might be useful ..hope I'm allowed to post this, if not, please feel free to move
Depends on the year. Older conways use the sliding bed system newer ones the same as pennine. On older conways the cooker was nearest the settee not the loo which worried me with kids around in a small space. Older pennines had one bed bigger than the conway now they are the same. Colour schemes vary, I'm a green and cream or blue and cream fan it may not matter to you.
