Excellent first weekend - I tightened the clip so it didn't squish the kids. We seemed to have packed almost everything in the house (not bad for a 8 mile trip) but still left all the clothes at home for our 2 1/2 year old so ended up trawling the charity shops of Leek for a cheap outfit - couldn't be bothered to go back home. Add to that no tin opener so we sat and stared at the tinned fruit.  However Rachel had a great 6th birthday on Saturday.

The camper was brilliant and we are going away in it again at the end of the October half-term week.  Maybe a weekend in between that if we can.  Whatever is next we plan to try the awning out on that one.  Maybe then we'll put it away for the winter.

Dave & Jan about bumping into you its quite possible.  We are planning next years half-term (May-June) at West Runton c&cc site, so you never know.

Oh whooppeedoo that's not too far from us here in Belton just outside of Gt Yarmouth.  Really chuffed for you that you enjoyed your holiday in the 575 etc.

As for the awning, well it seemed so long inside when we put ours up as it was not quite so wide as we thought it would be but it was still BIG if you see what I mean. I even managed to get it up (the awning that is) on my own with just a little advice from the boss (blessssssssss errrrrrrr).

Ours is packed away till next summer anyway cos I don't fancy any more 'holiday' filled with bucket loads of rain and howling gales gain. BRRRRRRRRR
