Hi to anyone who's interested I've found a couple of awnings that fit a Rapido Confort, Record or Export including the Matic range on ebay. One Here & Here
I know these can be quite hard to find just thought I might do somebody a good turn.

wining bids 168 and 170...
I think it is ridiculous to pay so stupid expensive price for old awnings - same size new DOREMA cost 250, here
I quite agree one I was watching earlier in the year went for nearly £140 but then they are quite rare so people will pay that for them. The one I recently aquired came with a caravan & I sold that for the same for what I paid for it so a bit of a bargain me thinks. The one I have in the photo in my gallery is when we were away I paid a tenner for although I modified the rails for it to fit. This other one I have fits better & is easier to set up plus its so much bigger inside it too I've just posted a pic of it on my gallery. I can now in effect have 2 awnings if I wish although I might just sell the other one on ebay. I'm just glad the rail I modified was on the opposite side to the one I have now. Ok so the colour's a bit bright still least it wont be hard to find on site lol.
Oh just thought I'd add that the Dorema Awning you mentioned would still need modifications done to the beading that goes into the rail as the roof section overlaps where it comes together plus alterations at the corners too. Or as I said above alter the awning rail but I thought it were a nightmare to fit the awning so I'm glad I've got a proper one now. Plus it's a lot bigger anyway.
