Hi all , just hoping somebody can give me some advice or info !!
Some friends of mine are looking for a Jaco ( is that the right spelling?? ) hard roof trailer tent , and having a nightmare finding one. My friend has her heart set on one of these , but cant find anywhere to get one. I know nothing about them , other than its got a wind up roof!!!
Would be really grateful if anyone can point me in right direction , especially as i told her someone on here would know something about them - no pressure tho!!#
As far as I remember, Conway imported Jayco (I think they were American) before folding campers really took off in this country. There were 2 models - Tardis and Laser. I think the Laser was about the size of a Conway Cardinal (or Cruiser) and the Tardis a bit bigger. Your friends might like to look for a Conway Cardinal as an alternative - same mechanism (wind-up solid roof). I think there is a Cardinal on E-bay at the moment - there was at the weekend!!
Update on the E-bay front - Jayco-like trailers by Conway were called 'Clubman' after 'Cardinal' - there are two very nice looking units on E-bay at the moment. The more modern ones (eg - the two on E-bay) have fridge, oven, hot water system and cassette toilet!
hiya i bought the same model but called a tardis i have details of the setup/handbook if u get 1 but like i said the tardis is the same model only newer ps check the corners under bottom when looking at 1
