Reminds me of when Pope John Paul visited the UK in the '80s. He had a chaffeur driven Rolls Royce laid on to take him between two venues. He was most impressed with the car & asked the driver if he could have a go. The driver swapped places with JP & they set off down a section of motorway. Soom a Police car noticed that the Roller was over the speed limit. When the car was pulled over, the constable noticed who was driving. He offered his apologies & said he needed to speak to his station on the radio as he needed to check the protocol as the adverse publicity of stopping such a Very Important Person could be embarrasing. He reported stopping the car & asked for advice. When the radio operator asked who the VIP was, the PC said "I think it's God". When asked what he meant the PC replied " well he's got the b****y Pope as his driver!
