Hello all,

I have some exciting sneak preview pics of the new TTs on show at the codicote tent show starting on Saturday.

To make them easier to view I shall post each tent in an individual post. Happy drooling!

OK, so first up is the new Raclet Armada. It's essentially the Flores but without kitchen and with a ZIG and a sexy new hooped awning - but in a "best of both worlds" scenario, the hooped awning will stand up on its own so you don't have to faff with guy ropes!

The front looks like this:

The next 2 pics show you the light and airy interior and ZIG:

Then this one is of the trad/non trad awning frame:

Then a couple of the interior. The beds are 4 foot wide but with an extra foot of cushion making a really good 5 foot wide bed.

Finally one of the exterior again. This is a right cracker of a tent!

Right. Solena next. This one has been around a couple of years now and just has a colour update - and some new, rather better engineered adjustable poles. This tent also has an awning, not shown, on the front.

Note how this is like a baby Combi-Camp. It also now has gas struts to open the lid and gas struts to lift the bed up and access the storage underneath.

Trigano Spaceo, then I must go and have my tea.

This is a Raclet Safari but with a trad awning.

Note the big and sexy kitchen, with plenty of space between gas burners, the sink which comes with a battery box and pump, with microswitch tap, and the ultra-strong aluminium awning frame which will stand up to gales easily.

Next up is the brand new Raclet Moovea. This is conceptually a bit like the Solena, only it has no hard floor to swing over. Instead you pull the canvas over like a smaller version of a Camp-Let, and it all extends out sideways making it bigger than a Solena.

This model has no awning (although there is one available which pretty much doubles the space). Even without that, however, I reckon this a really good tent for a couple. Compact, uber fast to erect and with plenty of storage under the bed. Good stuff!

Nearly there!

This is the 2010 Quickstop. Think of this as a Pennine Fiesta brought up to date, with ZIG, hooped awning, and a kitchen which can stand in the awning on its legs if wanted or sit inside as shown. Also available are bedskirts and under-bed tents.

Just a few pics of the other tents available, with a piccy of a little cluster of brand new TTs!

Enjoy,

Hi Raclet Charlie!

Nice pics! - still got our trusty Raclet Tamaris.. I know that it's not the same standard as pennine, but apart from some teething problems when we first got it as ex-demo from Raclet's camping exhibition it's been fine!(Don't know if you remember, but you helped me out at the time with some electric problems! :-)

It's stood up to some torrential rain storms, including a cracking thunderstorm in Holland last year! - and were off to France in August for 2 weeks in it, plus loads of long weekends here and there! - so were certainly getting our moneys worth out of it!!

as a value for money folding camper - I can't fault it!

Cheers - Matt

Yup, certainly remember!

I have some prices for you, although they are not definitive, as we are still feeling our way gently at the moment.

Raclet Solena: £2979, with awning £3495
Raclet Moovea: £2560, with awning £3125Raclet
Safari GL (with Kitchen) £4895
Quickstop: £3900, with awning £4875
Trigano Spaceo with kitchen: £4995

And, the best 'till last:

Raclet Armada £2500.
Yup. A Raclet with the best canvas, hooped awning, ZIG, 5'6" beds, quick erect cabin and zip curtains for 2.5k.

I can't think of another TT which comes even slightly close to that value for money!

Charlie
