Can anyone tell me please if there is anywhere in the West Midlands where we can view trailer tents/folding campers? I'm particularly interested in the Camp-let, but can find nowhere in the Midlands. Nearest stockist appears to be Campelands in Manchester.
If Chester is not to far (nice day out if you are a lottery winner) then Caseys is a good place to have a poke around, beware the garden centre cafe,even lottery winners have limits.If you come via Wrexam,beware the camera vans,they can be even costlier than the coffee. Camperlands is easy to get to,but Northenden is only worth a day if you are a fan of big macs and massage parlours (so Steve tells me)

Though once you're in the vicinity of the M60 you have Go Outdoors, Decathlon, and of course the Trafford Centre. I'm told people come a long way to visit the Trafford Centre, they even have a coach park!
We're hoping to camp over near Chester for my birthday weekend, perhaps that might rate a visit to the garden centre cafe?!
Camperlands are worth a visit, not far from the midlands, they also have other folding campers/trailer tents for you to look at.
Have noticed a few second hand camplets on here have you looked at the free ads?
Caseys are good too, very helpful, not that far either.
I am banded from both shops by OH, he knows its going to cost him when ever we visit!
We can't avoid it, especially around Christmas, we have to use Barton Bridge a lot, and the 2 motorway exits nearest us are 9 and 10! Still, it has its uses.
Actually, Manchester town centre wasn't impacted anything like as badly as anticipated when the Trafford Centre opened. The local roads and motorway are a whole other matter...
Its got a Lego Discovery Centre now as well, my kids are desperate to visit and they're 12 and 14!
But we digress; you can still visit Decathlon and Go Outdoors, Sale Waterpark is nice for a walk, if you have children there's a playground on the other side of the carpark from Camperlands, and I think you can walk along the river from there as well. No expensive coffee shop though, sorry!
We get a lot of clothes, walking boots etc from Decathlon. I really rate their sleeping bags as well- a good range and very clearly described. Spend a fortune every visit!!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
