Adrian from Raclet UK has just told me that he has 2 Jasmins and 1 Santale from 2009, unopened and wrapped in cellophane to get rid of.
They are the top of the range model - with slatted beds, 5' mattresses and huge amounts of space. The Jasmines have a kitchen which fixes to the back, the Santale has a smaller kitchen which one person can lift which hooks onto the rear door. Apart from that they are the same.
The colour is royal blue and grey - a bit boring perhaps but at least it won't go out of fashion!
Also available are the extension awnings which turn a biggish TT into a mammoth TT - bigger that the Trigano Spaceo!
Adrian says he wants £2995 for these, which is a pretty astounding price in itself (compare and contrast to, for instance, a Sunncamp 575TC), but I think with a little encouragement and a cash offer I might be able to talk him down even further if anyone is interested, or perhaps get him to throw in the awning extension for free.
Let me know..... I will post some pictures of what they look like later!
Here is the relevant page from the 2007 brochure. As you can see, the Santale has a smaller kitchen and the trailer is shorter. Everything else is the same.
Very nice but i saw a better one at the Welwyn show, that you told us about :), with a zip in groundsheet. If i was after one then i think i'd pay that extra £2k for the ZIG.
I've got a Jasmin, with the extension, Why was it discontinued????????????? I would imagine it's because you have to e fit to put the awning up!!!!!!! Other than that it's great, beds are fantastic. I've been looking at options such as Camplets that pitch faster, but none of the beds compare to be honest; it's more comfortable than my bed at home. Kitchen's rather large and heavy, but what else are teenage sons for, apart from now beating me at evrything. If I could get a hooped awning to zip on, I couldn't think of anything that would then prize it away.
hi there was just wondering . we got a raclet jasmine (2009) model . my question is should there be any poles showin when the awning is up as on the pics shown there isnt any support poles showing...we put the awning and tent up yesterday and were confused lol...please help
usually there is a vertical frame leg that goes from the roof ridge down to the floor. It might have been removed for cosmetic reasons in the photo.
I would think the roof would be weakened without that pole being in place.
