hi guys - newbie here
my wife and i have just purchased a pennine conway 1984 model as we always fancied one and thought an old second hand one wouldn't break the bank. The problem is that we didn't realise when we bought it that we were missing the bed annex (is this the right thing) basically the inner tents that go inside the bed space either side of the trailer tent. we have priced them up and the chepest was £225!!!! this was for the actual ones that fit this model. My question is can we buy cheaper alternatives or can we do without them and still have a goodnights sleep - thanks in advance for any help you can us guys and any other tips about the pennine pullman would be appreciated

Hi, We had the same conway for a short time last year and were faced with the same problem. My wife found 2 quite easily on Ebay from someone who spent their time making conway  inner tents to the same sizes etc as Conway.

We paid £50 for 2 inner tents that were a great fit. Look on ebay for a seller called thetrailertentman, not sure if he is still active but worth a look.

think i m ay have one of these inners at home that has only been used once as we no longer have the conway. I will have a look when i get home tomoro and let you know if i have

If you can get hold of one, you may be able to find someone handy with a sewing machine who could make another to match - they are a very basic shape.

You can buy inner bedroom tents for awnings perhaps you could adapt one of these to fit. Argos sometimes sell them.

We owned a 1986 clubman (Pullman is the next model up) and had some great times in it. Not sure what you want to know but ask away.
