I tried using the rubbers with the T shape and they were rubbish, as soon as you put any kind of tension on them, the T just broke off! In the end I've used large rubbers fed through the tent loop and then fed the rubber through itself and also I've used the shock cord too. Both of which work well.

Cheers

Jeff

I must be another saddo - this has caused me a few sleepless nights!! In the end I have gone for shock cord (bungee cord) clamped with (after much investigation) a link from an old plug chain and wrapped in a short length of heat shrink. A very tidy solution.

You don't want to go on holiday with me; I spend the entire week measuring, underneath, or redesigning my folding camper and camping gear!
