Just bought a second hand Cabanon Stratos DL complete with kitchen, fridge, full gas bottle and other extras! The tent is two years old but has never been used. The guy explained that he and his wife had split and that the tent has been stored away for the last two years. It has only been erected once on a practice attempt, but never been slept in. I got the winning bid for an amazing £1951.

Only minor niggle is no storage box for the trailer, and I have just priced one up at £240!!!!!! FOR A BOX!!! Anyone know where theres one cheaper?? Second Hand? Presume they are like gold dust!

Camperlands had some on offer about a month ago they may have one left.

Also if you google trailer boxes there are companies that make aluminium trailer boxes.

You got a bargin there, as for front box we got our from Attwools Nr Gloucester I think it was £80. But Look around B&Q etc you might be able to pick up a tool box that can convert. A pal used a large plastic one but had to line it with ply. Hinge and lock he fitted.

Thanks for the advice. Yes it was a Cabanon box, so paying through the nose. Not paying £240 for a ruddy box.  I'm an engineer so shouldn't have too much trouble making something. Collecting the tent tomorrow and going to try it at the weekend. Booked on Upper Carr holiday park just outside Pickering, don't think I'll be disappointed with my investment. Just need to sort some decent insurance for it now.

Can I just ask Stratos owners what they have done about a carpet for the living area? Doesn't seem to be an available accessory.
