The legs on our Raclet Floreal Cooker seem a little wobbly (not helped by the fact that they fall down when you are driving along, resulting in a little unwanted leg wear - grrrr). We are therefore looking at alternative or improved leg solutions.

Does anyone use separate trestle style legs for their TT cooker/range?

Any other sensible solutions?

Dobby

Hello Dobby

not sure if this helps, but regarding the legs falling down while driving, I have a conway unit and the legs are held by a black screw that you tighten by hand, (not sure what it is called) but on the kitchen there should be a hole in the leg that you screw this into to avoid any movement when travelling.

Not sure if this helps?

Hi snapped pole

The legs snap into a spring-clip which is supposed to hold the legs in place. It doesn't so we have "cured" the falling down problem with string wrapped around the cooker - inelegant but effective

Before I had the TT, I had a camping trailer and tent (still do in a strange sort of way ) My kitchen unit was from a TT and I just sat it on my fridge (Electrolux RM 212) which served the purpose well
