Took the new suncamp 400 away for a 10 day break and loved it.

However, the corner steady legs kept moving about too much. The screws didnt seem to grip the legs enough and they kept retracting back inside the trailer making the whole thing a seesaw affair.

Any tips ?

Use a leather palmed glove (from the gardening section at B&Q) to tighten the screws up REALLY well. They only hold by pressure so really, it's a matter of making sure they're tight enough. I can't do it tight enough with my little female hands so Hubby has to do this job, with a glove.

I had these things seriously tight but they still slipped down.

I think maybe a small set of axle stands may help ?

I had same problem with suncamp legs.

I bought some wind down legs and fitted them to the chassis and haven't had any more trouble.

Got them online from www.banburytrailers.co.uk.

Hope that helps.

Pete
