I have Cabannon Stratos & I have pitched & broken camp in a thunderstorm ( both in SW France) & the former is the worst. A grear TT bur the awning is so big it's a pain to get dry.

As we come to the end of our holiday we keep a careful watch on the weather forcast & have neen known to break camp a day early so as to avoid getting our tent wet.

We have recently acquired a Conway Voyager TT - does anyone know if the canvas comes off completely so we could dry it if necessary? We are booked to go to Woodhouse Farm at August bank hol and are considering taking our Lichfield tent  instead of the TT if the weather looks dodgy as we know we can dry that in the house if its wet when we take it down.

I've not actually seen inside a Voyager but given the design I would be willing to bet its cabin canvas is just held on with cotton ties, the same as in the standard Conway TTs. But I would open it up and check just to make sure. Incidentally when putting a canvas back on don't tie the tapes really tight...the tapes have to be just slack enough to slide along the poles easily when folding or erecting the cabin. And normal bows are secure enough and easy to undo next time you take the canvas off.
