Wants would be max 4 berth, comfy beds, a cooker useable on the road, quick up cabin with minimal pegging( for overnighting), EHU possibly, so 240 and 12v electrics, not too heavy, lots of onboard storage.
Does it exist, if so, who makes it, or comes closest!!
Combi camp (newer models) but v expensive. Main cabin up in a couple of mins. Need newer model for storage under bed therefore not having to move it all off before sleeping for a quick overnight enroute stop. Also need newer model for kitchen on back which has fridge, hob, sink and storage which you can access on the road. New you're looking around £7000 but can get ones only a few years old for about half that.
I would suggest the Raclet Quickstop. It's the cheapest FC out there, small and light, and has an easy-up hooped awning with ZIG - the only FC to have it!
We have the camplet and it has it all apart from the onboard storage we can store all the kitchen equipment in the kitchen, we have bed slats on both beds so this reduces storage so all we put on top is the sleeping bags, and fleece blankets this makes it quite easy for overnight stops as there's only bedding on top of beds

Your specification was exactly why we bought a Holtkamper.
For an overnight stop we have erected base unit and been in bed in 11 mins!! The kitchen is completely accessible with cooker, 3 way fridge and all food storage; pull into a layby and brew up in minutes.
All this is on a very light anodised aluminium frame, so the trailer weighs less than a Camplet.
Alas all this comes at a price, but it really is worth it
We have a pennine F/C and it has everything you have asked for plus the beds are very comfy used pennines are not that expensive and well worth the money .
Paul, I don't need an oven , but hob and grill would be ideal.
How do you find Holtkamper details and prices, they look nice and stylish, but website seems a bit unspecific, or am I missing something? Is there a UK stockist/ showroom? Or even second hand market for them! We saw a Dutch-owned one on a site in France, and it made us stop and look as we walked by, and started us thinking about a TT, it looked really nice.
Oh, and what is a fridge box? Does it mean a fridge is provided, or just space to stow a fridge? Please excuse my ignorance!!!
As far as I know there is only one Holtkamper in the UK at the moment..mine!. There is no UK stockist, it being easier to go to the Netherlands.
Each of the models has a base format and then you build up elements for your own convenience ( a bit like ordering different toppings on a pizza)
There are the price lists on the website, but it is better to talk through with the people over there.
Holtkamp is dutch as i recall, and expensive, but very good so i am told. As far as i know there is no UK stockist, but stuart may prove me wrong on that point.
A fridge box is just what it says, a box that stores cold items like a fridge but is powered ( a bit like a cool box)
Only if you take a small stove for use on the road (which is better than messing with the on board kitchen). My camplet kitchen is meant to be easy to use at halts,it isnt!
There is enough room inside for everything I take except duvets, fridge, and loo,and these are in the front box or roof bag. Only 2 of us though,so we find it roomy, not so good for more without the side annex.
