When looking at some trailer tents at a camping show, I saw that one or two had zipped in ground sheets. I can't remember which model/make it was. Any clues, or is this an option of most brands if you choose it as an extra?
When I look through the scores on ebay, all the ground sheets seem to be loose.
Cheers peeps.

Holtkampers have had them as an extra fot some years. We have one but seldom need to use it.
If you are intending to do a lot of of camping Oct - March, then there is probably good case for having one, otherwise an eco ground sheet such as Carpetina is cheaper, lighter and easier to manage.

The newer Cabanons certainly do, or at least the one we looked at did. Which is why we didn't buy it. They are a great idea in general, but we use Caravan Club sites and if you are on a grass pitch you need to lift the groundsheet daily. Not too bad with a loose one, but it looked like being a bit awkward with a zipped in one.

Agree that the Trigano and i think Raclet have them as well as having pumped water to the sinks. Prices are around £5k though
The Cabanon Stratos has them but then you have to have a hooped awning so lose out on room inside.
The hooped awning suncamps also have them.
A zig sounds lovely but i'm not sure i'd want to pay that much for them and i don't like the way you lose space inside with the hooped awnings.
I've seen the Trigano or Raclet one and it was a lot more roomy inside.
Alternatively i don't see why you shouldn't get a larger than normal groundsheet and add hooks to get a bathtub groundsheet.
I'm going to attempt that when i eventually get my tt lol

Our Jametic has one, I don't know if they are standard across the Jamet range. We had a real flood with our Camplet, so the ZIG was a big attraction! I like it, we don't have to zip it in, or even use it if we don't want to, but when the weather is bad its nice and cozy. There are odd gaps, so its not bug proof in the way that a tent with a SIG is, but that's not something that bothers us. It helps keep the dog in as well!------------- All the best,
Alison

Thank you all. That's given me food for thought. It sounds like the concept might be more recent so is unlikely to be an option on the models in my budget.
